Each bird has its own characteristics from the teaching and upbringing that they provide. It is very important to give them a lot of love and understanding, so here we take care of providing you with a short review of each species that we have to help you get to know your bird a little more before taking it home. Buyer is solely responsible for the training and behavior of said bird(s).Reserving a baby bird Most of our baby birds are sold/reserved while they are young and still handfeeding, therefore, a NON-REFUNDABLE (50% or more) deposit is required to reserve a baby until it is fully weaned. All deposits are applied to the final invoice. All of baby birds come with a health guarantee. We guarantee that there are no symptoms of disease or parasites at the time of sale/shipping and that our birds are completely healthy. This means that our birds are free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections, and congenital defects. We do not consider a slight growth of gram-negative bacteria post-shipping to be disease but recognize that this is a stress-related reaction to being shipped / taken home. Any birds taken/shipped, and hand fed by customers are not qualified for guarantee. Adult birds (over one year in age) do not fall under our health guarantee nor do breeders they are sold as is!. No guarantee!!!! All our babies are DISEASE TESTED negative for Polyomavirus (PVD), Avian Borna virus (ABV), Proventricular Dilatation Disease (PDD), Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD), Psittacosis ( MOMP), Avium Bordetella (BAL), Parasite Test, Recessive White Gene, Lavender Test, Pacheco's Disease(PDV), Cryptosporidium Test, Also DNA Results is provided. This is extremely important when choosing a lifelong family member. We provide paperwork with every bird we sell. We guarantee that there are no symptoms of disease or parasites at the time of sale and that our birds are completely healthy. All sales are final. No returns or refunds; While SELLER makes every effort to ensure said bird(s) are sweet, lovable, and well socialized, there is no guarantee on personality, pet, or breeding potential. Birds may not be refunded or exchanged, unless the bird is examined by an avian veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt of the bird, whereby it is determined that the bird has health related issues. An avian veterinarian's certificate stating the bird was Unfit for sale must be presented to Rio Exotic Birds within 24 hours of exam for exchange or refund of the bird. This guarantee is void if the leg band has been removed. (does not apply to adult/breeder birds)
